Art classes at the high school span a broad range of material, with students learning about the core elements and principals of design, practicing a wide range of techniques, and becoming familiar with artists and art movements.
The halls of Innovation Academy are filled with student art work, with students using everything from lockers to wood to windows as their canvas. Student art work in the past has included self-portraits, abstract sculptures and a series of wooden silhouettes representing the history of our campus at 72 Tyng Road. MusicWith our high school serving grades 9-12, Innovation Academy has added music classes to our curriculum, including music for all 9th graders. Our music program aims to teach the fundamentals of music theory and appreciation to all students, while also leading interested students in musical performance. |
