Endersession

Students participating in the Endersession Course: "Hiking the Long Trail"
Endersession is an intensive weeklong module led by IACS staff occurring near the end of the academic year. Students work with instructors to design and implement the goals of the course. Endersession courses may include traveling to other regions of New England (or beyond), participating in a service project, creating original musical or artistic work, or learning a new skill. By collaborating with peers and adults in new settings, students expand their learning towards both academic and social outcomes.

Past Endersessions have included:
  • Backpacking
  • Coastal Ecosystems of Martha's Vineyard
  • Writing and Recording an Album in one week
  • Experimental Public Art
  • Community Service and Cleanup in Lowell
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • A trip to Guatemala
  • Blacksmithing
