Mission Statement:  IACS creates an inclusive educational environment that helps students become  self-directed problem solvers, effective communicators, and invested community members for our complex and evolving world.


Core Values:  IACS is a community of students, staff, and families who believe anything worth doing is worth doing well, and who embrace the core values below to guide our conduct and accomplish our mission:

Original Charter

You can read our original charter, written in 1996. At the time of the charter, the name of the school was The Chelmsford Public Charter School. The school changed its name to Innovation Academy Charter School in 2006 and relocated to Tyngsboro in the summer of 2008.
