Families interested in attending IACS this school year (2026-2027) must complete an application by our October Application Deadline: Wednesday, October 14th at 12 noon.
Applications received by this date will be entered into a lottery if no waitlist exists for that grade level. In the event that IACS runs an additional October lottery, it will be held on Friday, October 16th at 4 pm.

Families are encouraged to apply online (link above), but also have the option to instead apply by downloading, printing, and mailing/faxing applications to IACS. (see “Application Forms” to the right)
Families are also encouraged to read our Enrollment Policies which are reviewed and approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Eligibility Criteria
IACS is a public school for students in grades 5-12. IACS does not discriminate on any basis. Admissions policies adhere to all state and federal regulations including public School Regulation 603CMR 26.00, 603CMR 1.05 and MGL c71/89 which states in part:
Charter schools shall be open to all students on a space available basis and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, ages, ancestry, athletic performance, special needs, and proficiency in English language or academic achievement.
