  • After School Art

    10-week Fall Session registration is open!

    Offered on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:00 – 4:30, the after school art program allows students access to a wide variety of materials and tools in the art room in order to create work of their choosing. The fee for the session is $75 and can be paid online.

    The session begins September 17 and runs through November 21. Please submit payment of $75 by Friday, September 13 to be registered. Email jshaby@innovationcharter.org with questions or to inquire about scholarships.

  • Band

    Come and join the band! If you’ve never played before, beginner band is for you. Choose from flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, or percussion. We meet in 510 on Mondays and Thursdays from 3-4:30. Already played one of those instruments for a year or more? Advanced band could be for you! We meet in 510 on Tuesdays from 3-5 and submit videos to Ms. D every Friday. To sign up or get more information, email Ms. Destramp at jdestramp@innovationcharter.org.

  • Chorus

    Middle School Chorus will begin on Wednesday, September 11th from 12:25-1:45 in the Middle School Music Room.  Middle School Chorus is open to all students in grades 5-8 and meets on Half-Day Wednesdays from 12:25-1: 45 pm.  Students must provide their own transportation home at 1:45 pm on Chorus Wednesdays. Bring a lunch and your singing voice as we prepare the music for our Winter Concert in December.  

    (Drama students may participate in both Chorus and Drama on Wednesdays.)

  • Dungeons and Dragons

    Dungeons & Dragons is starting up again! Do you love role playing? All ability levels are welcome to the D&D Club. We will meet on Thursdays after school, beginning September 26th. We will be in room 207 from 3:00-4:00. If you wish to participate, please have a parent or guardian email me, Mrs. Muhigi, at kmuhigi@innovationcharter.org.

  • Literary Magazine

    IACS MS Literary Magazine — The Scribbler

    The Scribbler is looking for editors and anyone interested in putting together a literary magazine for the year. This is a yearlong commitment, and we are looking for students who are hardworking and dedicated to publish a literary magazine by the end of the year.

    The Scribbler will meet on Thursdays after school from 3:00-4:30 PM in Room 408.

    Mr. Pisco is the Literary Magazine Advisor.

    Meetings begin on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Families should send an email to Mr. Pisco to sign up.

    If you like photography, graphics arts, creative writing, planning and organizing, working hard and having fun with great people, join.

  • Yearbook Committee

    Yearbook is a yearlong commitment for dedicated, hard working students in good academic standing, who can honor the obligation we have to the community to publish a quality yearbook.  

    The Yearbook Committee will meet on Mondays from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in Rm 403 Starting  October 7, 2019
