Community Announcements

  • Our high school girls JV and Varsity basketball teams will be playing tonight at 5:30 and 7:00 pm, respectively on our "home" court of Notre Dame Academy (Tyngsboro).  Please come support the teams.  Admission is free!
  • HS Dance correction from The Hawk.  The High School semi-formal dance, originally scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Friday, March 9th.
  • Quality Night Prep Day approaches on February 15th.
Students should come prepared with posterboards, index cards, and art
supplies as they will spend time during the school day revising as well
as preparing their presentation and display. 7/8 Quality Night is on
Tuesday, March 6th at 5:45 pm. 5/6 Quality Night is on Thursday, March
8th at 5:45 pm. Hope to see you there.
  • HB Salk students are working in small groups on community service
projects.  Two of the groups are fundraising and collecting donations
for the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen. The knitting group is also
working on hand-knit blankets for the homeless kitties. We will be
taking a tour of the facility on Feb 10th, including their lovely modern
adoption center, as well as the farm, where they house sheep, pigs,
cows, horses, chickens, goats, and more.
The adoption center cares for many small animals,
including cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, and birds. They need all sorts
of things to keep them happy and healthy while they wait for a family.
Some examples include toys for dogs and cats, old bed linens and towels
to make cages cozy, hide-aways and chew toys for the small mammals,
cleaning supplies of all kinds, office supplies for the office, and
more. Nevins Farm needs a wide variety of items for the farm animals
too, and yard-care donations are also welcome. Please see the full
    listing here:
Bring your items for the MPSCA to the cafeteria —
we will have a box there for collecting donations. Cash or checks (made
out to "MSPCA") will be collected by Mrs. Krakauer.  Donations will be
accepted until Feb 10th when we visit Nevins Farm!
  • The IACS Student Services Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) now has a Facebook page!  The PAC's next meeting will be Monday February 6th from 6-7pm in the conference room.  If you have a o      o      o      o      o      o      o      <span style=" cozy car chairs to relax in.<span style="font-size:10pt;
