June 9, 2017
Dear IACS Community,
From May 30 – June 1, students and staff completed another successful Endersession week. This intensive weeklong experience is one of several ways that we try to build strong relationships for students amongst their peers and with staff. In addition to helping to build a stronger community, Endersession courses help to expose students to a variety of learning experiences that they otherwise might not take part in. Some Endersession courses are located locally or on-campus and others are in other states or even overseas. Below is a list of the Endersession courses from this year:
Travel: Service in the Dominican Republic, Ireland, Vermont, New York City, Boston, Acadia National Park, Provincetown
Outdoor Adventure: Hiking the White Mountains, Whitewater Rafting, Disc Golf, Horses, Surfing MA & NH, Rocks & Rocks
Hobbies/Recreation: Photography, Create a Meal Challenge, Short Film Production, American War and Films, Asian Cuisine, Seeing Art, Writer’s Retreat
Thank you to all of the IACS staff that planned these great experiences for students. I’ve included a few photos from the various courses this year, but if you would like to see all of the photos, click HERE to see our Google Photo Album.
Here’s looking forward to another great Endersession next year!

End of Year BBQ (6/20/17)
We've had an amazing response for the year end student and staff BBQ. The list keeps getting shorter! At this moment; specifically:
4 potato salads
11 fruit salads
1 garden salads (include 1 large dressing any flavor)
2017 Family Survey: We’re now up to 295 respondents. While this is getting close to our target number, we’re still not quite there. Please help us achieve our highest response rate. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes. CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE SURVEY.
New Carpool Sign-Up Form: Interested in setting up a carpool for next year? We’ve created a new Carpool Flyer for you to view. The new process works as follows:
Click on the link found on the flyer to enter your contact information and street address. Remember, data you share on this form will become shared with everyone else interested in carpooling.
Once you’ve submitted data you will receive an automated email that gives you access to two items: a spreadsheet of names and an interactive map that allows you to see who lives near you and their contact information. Both of these documents will automatically update every time someone new enters their data.
Tyngsboro residents:, your bus information will be coming going home sometime next week.
The deadline for signing up for "out of town" Christianson buses is fast approaching, June 20th. Changes to the bus route from last year may need to be made depending on the amount of people that sign up for the bus and what stops they are interested in. Remember that the buses fill on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Marybeth Bush at email@example.com if you are interested in or have questions about the bus.
