The Hawk: September 10, 2012

September 10, 2012 8:00 am
Greetings IACS Community,

We're officially full steam ahead with classes and extra curricular events and the energy level has been amazing.   For new families, this email serves as an important means of staying updated on news and events related to IACS.  It comes in two forms:

The Hawk: On Friday all students received a hard copy of this newsletter which covers all-school news, news/events specific to the middle and high school, as well as events sponsored by the Innovation Academy Community Association (IACA).   We hope this newsletter found its way home this weekend and can find a nice spot on the refrigerator!  For those families who might not be able to locate the paper copy, you'll find an attached copy on this email.    Look for October's edition to come out at the end of September.

The Dispatch: Every week the community who signs up for the email list receives a brief update with reminders or information for upcoming events.  Please take some time to read Dispatch information below.

IACA Meeting Tonight:  Tonight our community association will be holding its first meeting of the year at 6:30 pm in our school's cafeteria.  All adult members of our community are invited to reconnect with familiar faces or make new connections.

Welcome Back to the Expansion Initiative!

It's been
a busy summer, and the Expansion Initiative website is just the place
to stay in touch with all the developments!  Check out the new video,
Expansion Initiative 101.  We hope it will answer some common questions
we've heard from the community:
