¡Hola! My name is Rocío (Row-SEE-oh), and I am so excited to be joining the IACS community! Before coming to IACS, I spent seven years at Boston Public Schools, teaching different grades in the dual language program.
I graduated from Simmons University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology and later earned my master’s degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts Boston. I was born and raised in Argentina, and I’m excited to bring my love of language, culture, and learning to IACS!
I’m a proud mom to Sophie and Sebastian and a dog mom to our Boston Terrier, Nala. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying good food, laughing, and making memories. I’m looking forward to becoming part of the IACS family!
