Mairéad’s life as a dedicated 5/6 teacher began in 2003 when she joined the IACS faculty (then called Murdoch Middle School). After 12 years at IACS, she paused her teaching career for the opportunity to spend 11 beautiful years home with her children and sweet dog. During that time, she was grateful to volunteer often in the local elementary school, serve as a town commissioner, and work seasonally in undergraduate admissions. She is thrilled to return to the IACS community and spend time with students sharing her undeniable love of root words and getting lost in a good book.
