Danielle joins the IACS Board of Trustees as a next step in her dedication to volunteering for educational and child and family centered organizations. She served as a Co-Chair of the South Row School Playground Redevelopment Project, where she led staff and parent stakeholders to accomplish a full redevelopment of a playground site, organized an effort to fundraise over $100,000 in six months, and coordinated paid contractors, volunteers, and town employees from site work to full build. At Congregation Shalom (CS) in Chelmsford, she served as a member of the School Committee for seven years. At CS, she also served a dual role as the Dues Task Force and Membership Relations Chair, where she led the effort to reconceptualize and implement a new dues structure that achieved a record setting membership recruitment effort. In addition, she served as an elected Chelmsford Town Meeting Representative for fifteen years.

Danielle has a B.S. in Family Studies and Women’s Studies from the University of New Hampshire, and a J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law. After completing  co-ops at private law firms, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and Greater Boston Legal Services,  she then served as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the MA Department of Children and Families. Following that, she worked as a legal editor and project leader for LexisNexis. She further developed her passion for supporting and growing nonprofits as a Senior Consultant at Clarity Consulting Partners, specializing in grant writing, and nonprofit management and development. She is currently shaping the next stage of her career where she plans to combine and leverage her writing, leadership, organizational, project management, and public speaking/advocacy skills.

In 2020, the unexpected quarantine allowed Danielle to return to her passion for creative writing, and her goal of becoming a published author. In 2021, Danielle was accepted into a six-month intensive creative nonfiction writing program at Grub Street in Boston.

Danielle is an avid gardener, practices yoga and meditation, and storytelling including getting up on the stage at two Moth Story Slams and smaller local storytelling events.

She lives in Chelmsford with her husband, Alex, her son Spencer (IACS 2022, Syracuse University 2026) and daughter, Maddie (IACS 2025), and their two cats, Pax and Luna.
