Danielle joined the IACS Board of Trustees in 2022 as a next step in her dedication to volunteering for educational and child and family centered organizations. In 2023, her professional journey as a community activist, litigation attorney, legal editor, nonprofit consultant, elected municipal official, project leader, and writer led her to establish Cultivated Storytelling™, LLC, a communications consulting, training, and copywriting business. Additionally, she is a freelance writer with recent publications in Business Insider and Northshore Magazine.
She holds a BS in Family Studies and Women’s Studies from the University of New Hampshire, a JD from Northeastern University School of Law, and in June 2024 completed the Social Impact Storytelling Certificate Program at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies: Center for Social Impact Communication. She is an alumnus of Grub Street’s Writing to Heal Intensive.
Danielle is an avid gardener, practices yoga and meditation, and as a storyteller she gets up on the stage at Moth Story Slams and other local storytelling events. She lives in Chelmsford with her husband, Alex, her son Spencer (IACS 2022, Syracuse University 2026) and daughter, Maddie (IACS 2025), their two cats, Pax and Luna, and their horse Luke.
