Erik Arnold received a B.S. in History Education from Boston University, a M.Ed. from Salem State University in Special Education, and in 2014 he completed his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Boston College. His dissertation in practice was titled “Framing Innovation: The impact of the superintendent’s technology infrastructure decisions on the acceptance of large-scale technology initiatives.” Erik worked as a special education teacher for six years in Lynn and Salem before moving to the history department. Erik loved teaching history at Salem High School and then Littleton High School, but after a fifteen year teaching career he decided to accept a position at Uxbridge High School as their assistant principal for a five year period. Erik began as the IACS High School principal in 2014 and he feels very fortunate to have joined such a strong and unique community.
