Jackie comes to IACS after a 30+ year career as an Electrical Engineer; her last position in engineering being with MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and her MSEE from Johns Hopkins University. Her specialties were communications, surveillance and navigation systems for aircraft. After deciding to leave the engineering world, Jackie became certified to teach Math and took a position at Watertown High School as the Math Lab instructor; which was a full-time in-school tutoring position that allowed her to help students one-on-one or in small groups with curriculum from Algebra I through Calculus. She started at IACS in January of 2020. She lives in Chelmsford with her husband and two college age sons. In her spare time she likes to play (and teach) tennis, and enjoys reading, cooking and binge watching historical dramas.
