Coach Raksmey Derival has been passionate about volleyball since middle school, going on to play at Lowell High School and Suffolk University in multiple positions and serving in leadership roles as a team captain. She began her coaching career in 2007 with the Andover Pumas travel volleyball club, coaching athletes ages 12–18 for seven years, before proudly returning to her alma mater as Head Coach of the Lowell High School Girls Volleyball team from 2011–2013. After stepping away from coaching to focus on her growing family, Coach Raks remained connected to the game from the stands, cheering on family, friends, former players, and students throughout the local volleyball community. Now, Coach Raks is thrilled to return to the court with the IACS Hawks and looks forward to building a supportive team culture where student-athletes can grow in skill, confidence, and love for the game.
