Suzanne Hickey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with minors in statistics and literature from the University of Rhode Island. While working as a research scientist for the navy, she earned her Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. Her job titles have included mathematician, scientist, electrical engineer, signal processing engineer, software engineer, mom and math teacher. Ms. Hickey joined IACS as a founding member of the high school in 2007 with an interest in helping all students to be successful at math. Ms. Hickey has three teenage children and lives with her husband in Westford, Ma. Her newest interest is taking windjammer cruises off the coast of Maine on a boat filled with expert knitters.
