Staff Directory

Tyler received his B.S. in History, Social Studies Education from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.  He is nearly complete with his Masters in American History, with a concentration in the early-Republic. Tyler is beginning his fourth year of teaching, previously working at a Project-Based Learning charter school in Durham, North Carolina. In his free time, Tyler enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his partner of six years.
