Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, an M.S. in Oceanography from the University of Maine, and an M.S. in Teaching also from the University of Maine. She worked as a research assistant at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine and at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts before deciding to become a science teacher. Ashley joined IACS in 2013 and teaches biology, anatomy & physiology, and environmental systems. Outside of teaching, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and crafting.
